Long time, no see!

Well, we've been away from blogging for many months! I am going to try to do better this time!

Leah is a busy girl these days; she loves playing with her dolls, climbing stairs or anything else that is semi-climbable.

She's growing like a weed!

It's been a while since I've posted, I know! Our family has been busy! I've been back at work now for 6 weeks. Leah is rolling over from her back to stomach and gets her arms under her so she can raise her head (see pic!). She has been laughing more, especially when Daddy sings funny songs to her or when Mommy holds her in the air.

She was dedicated at church on August 3, 2008 and wore a beautiful Christening gown sewn by her maternal Great Grandma Dixie.

Recent pics of our cutie pie

OK, so I also got around to downloading pictures we've been taking of our little angel, whom I have been referring to lately as "dolly". Here are some pictures from some of her latest photoshoots. Drew, Leah's second cousin is also featured-- can you believe he is a month younger than Leah?!

About to roll over!

Leah is growing up! I was thinking today that I am not sure how much longer she will fit into her 3 month onesies. She makes lots of little noises, smiles a lot, and is starting to roll from her back to her stomach. She has not quite mastered the reverse.

She is staying at Grandma Reeves while mommy is at work. Last week she had her second trip to the lake and this coming week Meme (grandma Hunter) is coming for a visit! On Thursday of this week Grandpa Hunter and a friend were making a quick drive through and stopped by for the night. What a good suprise!

July 4th

Leah's first July 4th was spent doing the usual, eating, playing, catnapping, and dirtying diapers. We also went to the picnic in our neighborhood, but cut it short because it was really warm outside. Yesterday was mommy's first day back at work and Leah stayed with Grandma Reeves. Leah was super tired at the end of the day and she went to bed (for the night!) at 830PM. That's a Leah-world record!

July 1

Well, this ages me... some friends at church have blogs for their kids. I did not really even know what a blog was. So now here I am with my own blog for Leah and our family. I hope it helps keep family/friends up to date!

Leah is snoozing (for the moment). She is sleeping pretty well at night and is starting not to be soo fussy in the evenings. I am returning to work on Thursday and Jacob's mom will be keeping her for us. We are thankful to not have to find daycare.

Some of Leah's latest accomplishments: continuing to mimick some words we say, especially "Hello" and "I love you". The other day she threw her foot over her body like she wanted to roll over. She's had her first plane ride (went to visit family/friends in NC), and first trip to Lake Tenkiller.

She really likes her mobile and makes a little squeal when she is excited while kicking her feet like she is riding a bicycle.
